Art has always been a passion of mine. When I went to my grandparents' house after school every day, I would spend most of my time crafting. In high school, I would stock my backpack with a set of Micron pens and doodle mandalas, flowers, and Zentangle designs over every inch of free space on my paper.

While I’ve always loved to draw and paint, my journey with digital art and graphic design didn’t start until about 6 years ago. When I got an iPad and Apple Pencil, I brought that whimsical, detailed style of my physical art with me. I started incorporating it into my art, ranging from animals and phrases to objects and symbols. I opened an Etsy shop where I sell my designs as stickers.

During my online classes in 2020, I started embroidering as a way to keep my hands busy. I experimented with adding some Zentangle and floral elements as well as beading into my embroidery projects, capturing the same whimsical style from my drawings. I even made a Reel with 15.5K views and over 2,200 likes; maybe it was the embroidery, maybe it was the meme of Pedro Pascal eating a sandwich.

In September 2023, I started taking Graphic Design courses at Tufts University to gain a certificate in Graphic Design. I have enjoyed the courses even more than anticipated, further solidifying my passion for digital art and design. This has reaffirmed my desire to pursue a full-time career in the field.
